Universe Navigation Atlas – represents a unique atlas, the only one in the world - for it contains the fullest information with reference to the outer space. It is made-up of about a hundred hard-copy volumes with hundreds charts of the explored outer space: stars, satellites, and other space bodies: their coordinates, trajectories, and names.
Universe Navigation Atlas is maintained by Golitsyno-2 Institute under the agreement of the member-states participating in the outer space exploration in order to prevent satellite vehicles and space bodies collisions and to coordinate satellite launching trajectories.
Presently Atlas' on-line version is under construction

The Universe Navigation Atlas is based on universally recognized (by all scientists dealing with space research)
International Star Catalog.
«ISC» represents unique online commercial catalogue, composed on the basis of extraterrestrial observations and new stars discoveries since 1964 made with the aid of orbiting telescopes of the “Golitsyno-2” Institute of Space Research and Satellites Control under the USSR Ministry of Defense. This longstanding study actually is rather unique for hundreds of scientists and a number of scientific institutes along with many enterprises of former Soviet Union participated in its development under auspices of G.S. Titov.
International Star Catalog “Space-Earth” represents the only catalog in the world where the names of newly discovered stars are officially registered. The stars are named correspondingly by a special Board. The Board is composed of cosmonauts that are members of Cosmonautics Federation; scientists enjoining membership of international scientific-research institutions and the leading managers of those organizations that took part in space research program carried out by means of seven telescopes-satellites, resulting in discovery of thousands of new stars that are included in the database of International Star Catalog “Space- Earth”.

When buying a star name in preference to a certain site, please check to see if this very star has been already named in another catalog
The search is made through the International Star Catalog registry and also through publicly-accessible catalogue USNO A2.0 as well as through the catalogs included into USNO A2.0: Hipparcos System (J2000.0) for the epoch J2000.0. Tycho AC 2000, Bonner Durchmusterung (BD), Cordoba Durchmusterung (CD), Cape Durchmusterung (CpD), Henry Draper (HD) Hipparcos Catalogues.
